Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness!
Please join us as we support Moving Up In Life, Inc., an amazing pillar in the community. The nonprofit organization's goal is to break the cycle of homelessness by providing transitional housing and wrap around services to help individuals become self-sufficient. They assist their clients with building independent living skills, and teach them how to take care of and sustain themselves, which will ultimately prevent homelessness.
You can also check out the their Youtube Channel, which serves as a One Stop Shop for Independent Living and Life Skill Videos. There they provide "How To" tutorials, however basic, teaching skills, that some populations in society simply don't have, but taken for granted by most. With help from community partners, they cover topics such as Budgeting & Money Management, Managing a Home, Real Life Skills, Interviewing, How to Start a Business, Creating a Life Vision, and many more.
